Paul Ouellette is an interdisciplinary artist. He graduated from The University of Vermont with a degree in Studio Arts and Film and Television studies. There he studied a wide range of art forms including photography, film, music and design. He is now based in San Francisco, California where he works independently as a freelancer in the film, commercial & entertainment industries. 

Professionally, he works in a variety of different roles for world-class companies around the Bay Area such as Google, Salesforce, Tesla, Snowflake, GitHub, World and more. These roles include Photographer, Editor, Technical Director, Director of Photography, Camera & PTZ Operator, Graphics Operator and Set Technical Utility.

Also serving as Director, Cinematographer and Editor of independently produced Documentaries, Ads and Music Videos, Paul has been building an award-winning body of work since the early 2010s. He uses the camera to help audiences explore the world, presenting information in engaging, innovative styles.

In his artwork, Paul takes an experimental approach to each project often working with brand new tools and methods. He seeks to create dreamlike atmospheres that prompt viewers to explore their relationship to the waking world. His work focuses on themes such as loss, isolation and human connection to the environment.
