About
Paul Ouellette is an interdisciplinary artist. He graduated from The University of Vermont with a degree in Studio Arts and Film and Television studies. There he studied a wide range of art forms including photography, film, music and design. He is now based in San Francisco, California where he works as a freelancer in the film & entertainment industry.
Professionally, he works as a ‘one-man-band’ shooting and editing short documentaries, ads and event videos for a variety of businesses and organizations in the Bay Area. Paul also serves as a Technical Director for live events and streams in need of video mixing.
In his artistic work, Paul takes an experimental approach to each project often working with brand new tools and methods. He seeks to create dreamlike scenes and sounds that prompt viewers to explore their relationship to the waking world. His work focuses on themes such as loss, isolation and human connection to the environment.
